I took a break from some troubleshooting this weekend. The line from the FPR to the side of the intake is still in tact. I ordered a new pump, some o rings and FPR which should be in this week. I want to test the FPR since we discussed the pressure dropping rapidly. Maybe its stuck open. Since the line on there now is plastic and prevents me from doing the pinch test. Can i toss a rubber vacuum line on there with some worm clamps and try the pinch test without any kind of repercussions?

i slid up the cover to get to plastic that hasnt seen the uv rays. then used folded over cardboard over the line to protect it. then clamped it with vice grips but not to hard.

Hey Craby guess what I found? My 7 cylinder injector is leaking bad when i turn the key to the on--engine off position. Im guessing that is why my pressure is dropping and car sucks at starting. Im assuming i need to replace the injector? If so im looking at some refurbished 24# denso injectors. Thoughts?

got mine used from an injector shop, checked out, cleaned, flow tested and flow matched. you might be better off getting another set, if one of yours is failing then it may be that more will need rebuilt. thats what costs. if they can get them and just clean and test its not that much cost.

sniff your oil, if it smells of gas change it. the overload of fuel will drain down past cylinder rings and get in the oil.

FML right now. I was removing my fuel injectors and an o ring fell off and went down into the intake manifold. Not sure if i should remove the intake or what? I was reading that they usually melt and blow out the rear but i dont trust that too much. Any thoughts? I tried fishing it out but i got nothing
