The least common is SOM or MTM, they made 3912 camaro's in this color (bright teal metallic) in 96. It'll be a long time before it gets paint, but red is my favorite color, and there isn't much that's boring about monterey red. It needs a full re-paint thanks to some body work needed, and I really want a different hood and an ls1 SS spoiler. Who knows, it could be teal, but this is such a nice color, not common on f-bodies:

I saw that color in person for the first time a month ago at PIR, I've seen plenty of it online, but never up close. It's an awesome color, I really like the dark shade and metallic it has. To go with it, I would paint the stripes back on in satin black outlined in silver (close to what I've got now), and most likely paint the roof satin black with that body line up there smoothed over.

I like to do mods that make this thing unique, so far I have yet to see another Camaro setup like mine, even with the teal.

Got my new camshaft installed and the double roller timing chain. Monday I'm going to get some new oil pump cover bolts, and install the timing cover, balancer, water pump, and any sensors that I can put on. I'm planning on having this thing done and installed this month, and drive it every day for break-in. Really getting excited, getting closer and closer every day.

Sure, here's how it sits. Tomorrow I'll finish the heads, and take them to the shop on tuesday. Then I get one last vacation in, then install the engine on the weekend of the 19th if all goes well.

Oh, and to anyone looking at doing a build, don't use the felpro head gaskets like I am (talking to people building for power). Only reason I'm using them is because I'm out of money and can't afford the cometics. I also should be using a stronger pushrod, but again, I'm out of money. I'm going to drive around easy for a few weeks, put it up for the winter, then replace the pushrods, headgaskets, and injectors next summer when I make some more money. Then I'll lay into it and run for some good times. Trying to be the first six on CF into the 13's NA, 12's with gas.
