Heads are all done, tomorrow they go to the machine shop. I didn't have anywhere clean to put them, so I set them on my shortblock. Then for the heck of it grabbed some crappy old valve covers I had laying around (not the ones I'll be using, they're kinda burnt)

You can see the Camaro starring in the garage at it's new muscle being born, lol

Heads are at the machine shop, getting the guides cut for more lift, valve job, mag, cleaned, and resurfaced. I'm sitting on the fence about ordering stronger pushrods, I can afford them, but then I can't replace my motor mounts and such. Waiting on a reply from ZZ performance to see if my stockers will handle my valve springs.

The stock L36 pushrods should be good to go for 130 lb springs I thought. Most people only have problems bending/breaking them when going over 130 or going FI.

Hey, I'm new and I just wanted to know what all you had to do to get 315's under the back and what it all cost you?

Going on the bottom. As for the valve covers, first I'm gonna try to polish them, but if I can't get them looking right, I'll paint them black with the center bars silver.

Alright, I'm stressed and tired, today was a big pain in the ***. I'm gonna take a long hot shower and try to sleep well. Pulled the engine out today, did 85% of by myself, had to get some help lifting the body off. I'm worried about getting everything back without pinching/bending/breaking something. The brake lines proved to be one serious pain in the ***.
