Default Problems starting

I put a post out here a month ago, but cant find it.

I have had an interminent starting issue. I would get all the lights and guages on but no starter. I have gone thru checking cables and battery. Its not a power issue, and the battery tests fine.

It can go days or a couple if weeks with no issues.

Today it happened again where is woundnt start. The only thing I did different this timewas to lock the car, and thenI tried to start it. It started right after I locked the doors. The security light never lit up, but I think it has something to do with the security system.

Any ideas?

I had a car that had an intermittent starting problem. At times I would go to start it and the starter would just click and other times it would start right up. I bought a ground cable for about ten bucks and replaced the ground cable that goes to the battery and it fixed it.

unless the security light stays on while you start its probably not.either replace the battery/starter cable or pull the starter off and take it to your local parts store to be tested

Camaro RS/SS, please don't just "x1" other peoples post, we do not allow post whoring here. Since you don't have any experience with a car of your own, as has already been established in another thread, you should probably stick to threads that ask opinions. Only post in threads that have tech problems if you KNOW a potential solution to the problem.
