Power windows question?

Lol my dad used to build GM window motors. The issue is the wiring, not the motor.

So what's the deal then? Why didn't they ever fix the wiring ?don't they want to be on par with other automakers?

my gm factory motor and regulator installed a couple years ago are still goin like new.

last year it was the passenger motor, the year prior, drivers. This year, the drivers side just cut out so they last about 2 years from my experience. And those motors were replaced by me initially as well so I'm going on my 3rd round of replacements

It's just one of those things you learn to accept just like when manufacturers figured a timing belt replacement at 60k miles was an excellent idea as routine maintenance.

Even way back to my terd gen Camaro, the passenger side window motor was lame. That Autotrix seems to be a good fix, as long as you fix the wiring before you wear the motor down to the point of no return.

Think I saw a link somewhere to that wiring trick. Cant remember where though
