Question Power Steering Squeak Turning Wheel Back and Forth

I get a power steering squeak/hum on my RS when turning the wheel back and forth -- any ideas what could cause this? I had a similar issue maybe 4 years ago and sucked out all the fluid I could and replaced it which seemed to stop the noise. I would really like to identify what the root cause is, however -- any insights?

The issue is intermittent, but has been happening more regularly recently. It happens most noticeably when the car is in motion at low speed like in a parking lot, or when stopped.

could be the relief valve inside the pump. maybe new oil was enough to keep it from making noise.

Thanks.

This time I will leave it to get worse so it can be clearly found by a mechanic -- still have extended warranty coverage... Got to get my $'s worth!

Right now it's too intermittent.
