Default Which Power Adder?

Okay so I've got a 1994 V6 manual with a cold air intake, K&N filter, high-flow cat, 2.5" single pipe all the way out back to a Flowmaster 40, and now I'm wondering what to do next. (didn't want duals on my V6)

I'm considering spraying it, for some cheap, easy power just when I need it, and off when I don't. I've seen a few local Craigslist ads for nitrous kits around $350. Would this be worth persuing or should I try to buy new from Jegs or Summit or something?

My other option is an engine chip, specifically the Venom 400 Module Computer. It seems to be the most legit chip I can find, and can be had for $260 on eBay. Is that worth it? Better place to buy? Will I notice it?

I think it'll be a lot more fun to just save for the nitrous, but with these universal kits do I have to worry about serious engine damage? I run 93 octane all the time, and the car is well taken care of, with only 47K on it so far.

An LT1/LS1-T56 swap or purchasing an LS1 Camaro would be my ideal place to start, but that's out of my budget, as I have to cars to work on. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
