yeah i looked all about chewybacca for leaks, but i think im onto something. only problem is everytime i go to fill up i`ve been making the choo bacca sound

 

yeah. I'm going to have to rebuild the trans soon though. Reverse is starting to give up and 3rd and 5th grind a little when the engine is not fully warmed up. Probably going to wait as long as I possibly can and get a new clutch, rebuild the trans, new master cylinder(from tick performance), slave cylinder, and speed bleeder. When I rebuild it I'm going to add the Viper gears which GM added to the T-56s in 2000!

Yeah 14 is pretty terrible for the V6. When I had my 2001 V6 I never calculated it but I'm SURE it wasn't that bad!

And when I make the chewbacca sound at the gas pump... my MPG goes up! So maybe you need to just do that more?

 

I feel like my gas mileage is pretty bad. I'm going to calculate it I just filed it out. I have filed my car up 3 times in about 2 weeks and I don't drive too much.

I've been consistently getting 26 MPG with my '98 V6 automatic in thirty to forty degree temps; 27 on my most recent fill up.

 

wow im jealous lol. My mpg is pretty low. Im not exactly sure yet but I seem to be at the pump much more often than I would like. Only a v6 too. But Im hoping for it to increase once i finish a full tune up
