becuase i love it, so pay to run it. Fuel in UK is always more expensive, it costs only 40p a liter and the rest is government tax !!

it's doubled in 7 years since i started driving

I just started watching my MPG's the last couple weeks and it's been 14.95 +/- .1. And that's city driving which sucks. And it doesn't change if I try to keep my foot out of it either. Mines pretty modded, I'm sure it's mostly the program. But highway I can almost double that.

Yeah I used to have a Hyundai Accent for delivering pizzas. That thing got crazy good gas mileage! Probably because them Koreans took the biggest lawnmower engine and put it in their car...

I'm getting around 17MPG in the Z28, but I can get over 20 when I stay under 1500RPM. All I do is city driving.

That's real close to what I get. I typically get 29 MPG during the summer and 26 in the winter. I can't complain either way.
