Exclamation please help.. 94 camaro acceleration issues

hey everyone, i'm new to the forum and i'm hoping you all can help.

i have a 94 camaro that i bought from someone 5 months ago. i've been having a lot of problems with it, but the most recent one is the fuel injector or spark plugs. about 3 weeks ago i've noticed the car has been running really hot and the fan wasn't working. then all of a suden it started working again (after not working for over a week) and i didn't do anything to it. so now i'm having this concern that there's something wrong with the fuel injector or spark plug. when i try to accelerate it just doesn't run like it used to. this could possibly be because it's 15 years old with 111,000 miles on it.. but i feel like there's actually a problem. i had my dad look at the car, he says there's nothing wrong with it but i keep having the same feeling. when i accelerate it doesn't go as fast as it used to and it feels like no matter how hard i press down on the gas pedal it just takes much longer to accelerate. it just feels weird while driving it. can anyone help? if you need more information i'll be happy to share it. thanks for your help

have it scanned for trouble codes and let us know what comes up. so is it a lt1? check the plug wires make sure none are up against the exhaust or broken. wait till its really dark and open the hood, start her up and look under the hood around where the wires run, look for sparks or areas of wire that light up. if u see any u have a or some bad wires.
