Oh, and here's an even nastier example from an 85 Oldsmobile I bought with a blown engine.

The camshaft walked forward into the timing cover and bored into the water pump cavity.

Coolant sprayed into the crankcase and the guy kept driving until the engine blew up. That's pretty hard to do to a 3.8.

This stuff was really, really, thick and nasty. The term milkshake was very appropriate, LOL.

That is perfect examples. Actually inside my oil cap is clean, it was only the tube itself. I couldn't get a picture of the oil that didn't have such a bad glare on it but it was normal looking oil, only a little darker than when you first put it in.

As said in other posts this is cause by mositure and lack of maintenance. Oil should be changed twice a year regardless of miles. I would also suspect the PVC system is not working like it should.

It it where mine I would replace the PVC valve make sure all the hose a solid and clear. I would do a seafoam in the oil then change the oil every 500 miles 3 times. Then install a synthetic oil. FYI Synthetic oils do not absorb moisture.
