What about like a $300 stage 2 jet chip from summit? They have dyno sheets on their site showing 20hp gain on a 4th gen ls1. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...p;autoview=sku

but i kno the ones on ebay are scams.

Those "chips" on fleabay are just a resistor that makes the engine run richer all the time by fooling the computer into thinking you have a cold running engine. Catalytic converter failure can be an eventuality due to the extra raw gas being blown out the exhaust. That cheap chip can wind up costing you more than you bargained for.

Just to put things into perspective, there's a shop that's local to me that will do a full dyno tune for $500, so that's $200 more, but you're guaranteed results and you can see how much it actually improved,instead of just going by what JET tells you. You'll be better off with a full dyno tune, or a PCMforless tune, you'll just get better results that way, don't screw with chips.

yeah theyre a total scam, if i was you i would go to madz28.com and get a ecu tune from their. I didnt do it myself but my car has it done to it because the previous owner did it and it works great and he said you could notice a difference
