Does it seem weak? Is it moving slower than usual? You probably need a new window motor.

Time for a window motor. If you never replaced one, read the below link first. It includes pics of "how to"

Sounds more like a wiring issue than a window motor IMO

Still confused by the GF thing but ok... Now as for the window motor issue:

What is happening is the circuit breaker is being tripped and it takes a few mins to cool off and reset. This happen from a weak motor, binding regulator, binding tracks, or a combo of 2 or more of the issues. Chances if you had any binding then you have already fried the motor and will need to replace it. I recomend paying a little extra and getting the full motor and regulator unit. When you put the stuff back together make sure you grease the tracks again and get them good so the regulator slides through them really smooth.

At least somebody got it. Me thinks my pun (based on his sentence structure) went over his head.
