Oil weight and brand! Texas weather

Oh and there are not really any oil leaks...by that I mean some oil does leak but it's not even enough to drip on the driveway.

Hey 69camaro, yea I know that synthetic oils don't "cause" leaks but I just bought the car maybe 2 weeks ago and if it has any small leaks or crappy seals then the synthetic oil would make it worse and that's what I meant lol but yea im going mobil 1 full synthetic within a month and will probably just drop the oil pan and replace the seal anyways, thanks for the help guys

Ohhh and the gastrol gtx oil I got from autozone was only $15.69 for the 5qt jug so it was a deal as I was ready to pay the $28ish price tag I saw lmao

Wow, that's pretty damn good. Anywhere up to a quart within 3k miles is considered "normal". You have a nice tight engine.....knock wood!
