Default oil pressure ?

I just bought a 95 Z28 with 65,000 miles. The car is in very good condition, so it looks like it's ben cared for. My question is what kind of oil pressure should I be running at idle after the engine is up to operating temp?

It drops from about 40 psi to around 20 psi at idle, if I raise the rpms up a little the pressure jumps right up to 35 psi +. Does this sound right for an LT-1?

when the car warms up and the oil flows better and you dont need 60 psi at idel but as long as it goes back when you raise rpms it shouldnt be a prob.but at least thats how it works in old *** cars like mine.

Sounds normal for an LT1. Niteman, it shouldnt matter when your oil was changed, thats not going to affect pressure unless your losing oil. That, and each engines run different pressures, so that would be low for a 3.8 v6, its fine for the LT1.

so 10k oil has the same viscosity as fresh oil? I change my oil and the pressure is slightly higher and gradually goes down. maybe my car is weird.
