Noisy Roaring Sounding A/C? (3.8L)
Anyone else here have a noisy A/C -- this is on my '02 RS -- it's extra noisy on acceleration and kind of a roaring tiger sound, which is never present with A/C off. Does this indicate a compressor issue, or is the added sound "normal"?

There is no way to predict that. It would all depend on what happened inside. Sometimes they will not last an hour once they start making noise. I have seen noisy compressor last 2 years.
