no start / no oil pressure
i have done searches and read all of the no start threads to no avail
so i need HELP
my 93 LT1 just died, sorta acted like it ran outta gas so i put some in it, no dice.check fuel pressure and that's fine, but i finally noticed that when the engine is spinning over the oil pressure gauge isn't moving, it acts like it wants to start at times like it's trying to fire
so where and what do i start checking

scann for codes. http://shbox.com/1/dlc2.jpg
could be several things. are you getting spark to the plugs?

In most cars the engine does not crank fast enough to build up oil pressure. Did you check the fuel pressure with a gauge? Have you checked for spark? Have you checked the two injector fuses? And as Craby said, check for codes.
26checked fuel pressure with gauge
checked injector and ignition fuses
doesn't these cars have a oil pressure cut off switch
oh and checked for codes and the only codes that came up were codes 26 and 43

The oil pressure switch contacts do not close and provide power to the fuel pump until the engine has started and oil pressure builds up to at least 5 PSI. When the starter cranks the engine, power to the fuel pump is provided through the fuel pump relay. I am not sure if the oil pressure switch path is still used in the 93 models. However; if the fuel pressure was good, then the question of the oil pressure switch is moot. The codes you pulled shouldn't affect engine starting, although the code 43 could make it run pretty crappy.
