Up under the dash on the steering column is a hi/low beam switch. It is more than likely broken or out of adjustment. You will have to drop the lower knee pad on the dash to see it. There is a rod running down the steering column going into it that pushes a tab to switch from hi to low.

and,,, pick up a new bulb and change one to make sure its not the bulbs. either that or test headlight plugin for power, could take one out and hook up to 12 volts to see if it comes on. i have seen both bulbs burnt out on here before.

I took a date out back in the day in my mother's 1988 LeSabre T-Type. After dinner we got in the car and started it up and turned on the lights *POP*-*POP* just like that I lost both the low beams. same time and a split second apart. I got pulled over 3 times that night for driving with my high beams on. Let go all 3 times but sheesh...

Funny thing about that was both lamps were not the same age. The car was wrecked in Dec 87 and it took out the left headlamp assy. This happened in 92-93 ish with the lights on the pass side being the factory bulbs. I guess I got lucky on that one !! My best friend (RSSSCamaro here on the forums) has the car now unfortunatly it needs a new engine and tranny.
