For the record... A tube is a tube. Get an ebay intake with a K&N filter and you will get the same gains as you would with a K&N lol.
Go with a full catback on the 3.4 they have a nice rumble to them. It's not as low as the 3.8 (I have no cat tho lol) when down low, but it's still good. Get some headers while you're at it

Cool cool. Yea that's what I was thinking, so I'll save my money by not getting the K&N CAI and just go EBay. Any reason to get the 3 piece tube vs. the 2 piece? 3 piece is aluminum all the way to the TB, 2 piece keeps that rubber 90* turn. Also, should I keep it chrome or would painting it make it get hotter.
This is MY first Camaro, yes, but my mom had a beautiful '69 RS, so that kinda influenced our decision when we were replacing an old Buick of ours. Cars aren't new to me, and I'm glad to have a domestic and German imports to work on.
