On my 1997 Z28 I have a OB2 P0785 Shift timing solenoid code. The car starts in 3rd or overdrive. It won't start in 1st or 2nd. I can shift by hand through all 4 with no problem. No slipping or anything else. I changed the 2 A and B solenoids which I got at AutoZone. I still have the shifting problem and the code. I've cleared the code twice but it comes back in 1 second. Can anyone help?
Thanks in Advance

You will need a manual and a volt meter, Remember the computer code is not a error for a single part its an error for the whole circuit. The PCM has no idea if the issue is in the part or the wiring. Heck it could be a problem inside the PCM itself. If you start testing odds are you are going to find a broken or shorted wire.
