I don't think I'll b able to justify the whole think just because of the multiple random misfire. Plus the one I've got now works great and i hear those things can be pretty hit and miss. Plus my dealer owns scrap yards so if i asked for that they'd get a used one. If i was going to change my opti id to it myself. But if it come to that I'll ask for it.

 

Yea optispark is actually fun to swap if its ur first time. Just make sure it starts before u put waterpump on lol. I didn't. I thought I had it in the right keyhole, but ended up taking a few trys to have it start

 

Well its at the dealer for it servicing. The mechanic said he was trying to track down its coolant leak. I thought it was the heater hoses cuz it leaked and burned coolant when i turned my heat on a few days ago making a late night run to Taco Bell. I haven't tried to use my heat since but it only blows of the floor n windshield too... But then i went to the same Taco Bell in the middle of the day after driving fine all day it did the same thing... Maybe it doesn't like that Taco Bell lol. But anyway he said he thought it was some kind of coolant connector at the back of the motor or something like that. Is there anything like that at the rear of the LT1 or is this mechanic still being a lazy jackass n probably just has not touched me car yet? Like isid the Trans Am they tried to sell me they had for four months so Amy info i can get to hurry these guys along is greatly appreciated!!
