Thumbs up

Well I did the Doctor Colorchip thing for the rock chips on my hood this weekend. It turned out really well so I'm happy with that and it was worth the $48 I spent on the kit.
Spent hours on it Saturday but was worth the effort hands down.
Sunday I added the lettering decals to the back end, quite pleased with that as well and it was only $9 so money well spent I'd say.

Before and after pics.

The GMMG chambered like these with the optional oval tips were on the car when I bought it.

When I get the heads and cam package done next Spring I'm having American Racing long tube stainless headers and Y- piped put on (no cats) and a dyno-tune by Tom Wong.

I've decided to go with the 30th anniversary style stripes after much thought and looking at many styles. Black of course since the theme on my car is black over silver. I think it's going to look great with the black projector headlights and black out turn sigs and side markers and black euro tail lights and black hardtop on the car and nearly black tinted windows.

This car being silver with the 30th stipes really made my mind up.

not a fan of the smoked out look.i like the clear myself ,but on your car ,not bad becouse of the light color ,i would have gone or the ones i mentioned above an you still can ,but then pewter is not my color either but adding the black gives it style it did not have ,thats why i went with 98-02 look on my 95 after near 10 years with the same car different looks keeps people asking me if i got the same car an i enjoy changeing the looks to,all that matters is what you think ,these cars people love them so any of us that own them know ,thumbs up everywhere we go .my thought in what realy makes the 4th gens stand out is zr1 polished aluminum wheels ,like night an day from the stock grey wheels ,other then some of the ss cars that came with polished wheels ,this is the look i am going for fender door an roker panal they have many colors red for me to choose from so next year its on the list along with ground effects kit trim big change from the last 2 pictures ,sometimes i am like a little kid when it comes to my car like you in get excited about the smallest things like new shocks in the front

Well that's the thing it's a silver car,if it was black I would leave it and not do stripes or black lights, black stands alone really well as a solid color, you don't often see a two tone car that is black and some other color for a reason, cop cars aside. The silver contrasts well with black so that's the theme I'm going with. My car came with the Chrome 10 spoke wheels option not polished,it's on the SLP sticker on the door. The wheels that are on the car however are aftermarket clones in 18",the stock SLP chromes were 17" with 275/40's all around. My 18's are 265/35's front and 285/35's rear.

yes it will give you what you want it realy is a beauitful car i think all, the thing i have done headlights tail lights 3rd brake light turns wheels those are all the things that make them look the way we like it stock looks are ok but then after time for changes , it will look great i am sure of that ,you seem like me an take real good care of you car ,i dont know what a dirty car is an driveing the car wrecked for few months like that was rough it was all in that one spot an looked worse then it was , long story too, i am going back to a 275 40 in back an keeping the 255 40 in front gives it a race look without breaking the bank on tires 17s are the best value , then my winter ride ,wich i try to take to the car wash once a week in winter or more ,depends on how the snow falls too, still got mine out till the first big storm ,wich i hope is not till after the holidays ,last year was very mild this year hard to say
