Default new exhaust Q's

Ok now that is has finnally warmed up some, Ive been trying to get to all the things Ive been putting off. Mainly my catback. Installing the new one wont be a problem, but I can not for the life of me get the old one off. I dont know the technical term, but I believe its the s-pipe, the one right after the catalytic converter, where the catback starts. How do I get the oem exhaust off? I cant even get the clamp off! Ive tried beating it with a hammer, tons of wd 40 and pb blaster, and even a blow torch as of yesterday. The last idea i have is to cut it off just beffore that, and use a grinding wheel on a drill to simply grind out the rusted in pipe, how did you guys who put on your own cat backs get the old ones off?

12 inch cut off wheel worked good for me when I took off my old muffler. You can even use a hacksaw if you wan't. Either way, cutting it off is the way to do it.

SawZall FTW! You'll be chopping for a while with a hand hack saw, but it would get the job done. I'm agreeing with everyone else, chop it off.
