Default New earl and a turn signal

Well the red beauty rides again, 7500 miles and she was ready for some new earl, went with castrol gtx 10w 30 and a KnN earl filter, Also i didnt know that these cars had magnetic drain plugs. I went about two weeks without a right turn signal for lack of funds, super easy install. Question time!
1 Piece drive shafts came on z28s and SSs right?
2 They came in aluminum and steel?
3Worth it to steal one out the junkyard?
4 Had my car scanned and one code read, Manufacturer controlled transmission.
Meaning behind that?

The LT1 Z28s had one piece steel drive shafts, the LS1s had aluminum ones.
The code reader meant to say that there is transmission trouble code, but it does not have the smarts to read it. You need a better scanner.

I'm having the same problem with my turn signal. How did you fix it new switch, or was it a short somewhere? I'm thinking it's the switch.
