Well, I dont have anything to say about value and what not, but to answer your original question.

Id bet money its the fuel pressure regulator, the symptoms you described are EXACTLY what my car did when the fuel pressure regulator went out. Although when it was cold it would start fine, just if you started it and stopped it would absolutley reak of fuel and then take anywhere from 2-4 trys to start.

Im gonna get a fuel pressure tester this weekend and check the pressures and making sure nothing is leaking down or anything also.

LOL... It was a very crappy looking camaro badge with a huge fancy 30th through it. Its gone. Didnt have a heat gun, but a hair dryer made quick work of it

Yea i took the first picture with a cell phone camera at 630 in the morning before work. Ive never seen that badge either. However i still say it looked like crap, so its gone now
