Default Need plastic push pin for t-top headliner

I want to install my aftermarket headliner into my new ride, it was previously Held in place on my wrecked car by 2 sided tape and sun visor etc. I recall they originally had a push pin tab kinda like the under hood pins that held in the insulation. Does anyone have one or a suggestion. Hawks did not and I have not had time to look at pick and pull. Worse case, I'll work around, just hate doing things twice, especially headliner. It's just one day one. Thanks for the time and I will keep looking.

I'm not sure if this is the same retainer, but GM Parts Direct has what I think you're talking about. Here's a link to page that shows an illustration of the headliner and parts.

Thanks for the info, ordered 74cent part, $15.26 shipping. I forget to try them as they usually have discontinued parts in the past. U Rock 💪 thanks for everything!

That shipping fee is terrible. I would of used the part number and tried to order from a local dealer first. Any way, glad it was what you were looking for.

If you have one old one take to the parts store and check the "help" section. A lot of clips where standard for years/decades to reduce manufacturing costs. The same clip may have been used in a 1980 camaro in the trunk liners.

It was long gone, but another good idea for next time. I just was anxious to button up the interior. Thanks for the info

Default Update

GM parts hadn't shipped yet so I got annoyed and found one for 6 bucks including shipping, received it fixed my headliner and am happy. The sad part is I could have used any number of plastic things I had laying around the garage and it thought it through like the response by going to local parts store etc. It was not some unique piece, I guess I can still be impulsive when it comes to car. All good now thanks
