Default Need help w/electric fans

I have a set of fans from around a 2001 or so F-body. I dont have any wiring info on them (i got them from a guy i used to be friends w/and we dont talk any more, and he was the one who knew how to wire them up, not me).
Anyways...I want to put them in my 71 chevelle. I needed to know what the power and ground wires are that come out of the fan (i believe there are blue white gray and black wires) Just not sure what is where (i dont have the fans to look at right now they are buried in the garage. Can someone gimme some advice on what is what here. I have a flex-a-lite controller for them so all i think i need is the power and ground wires unless someone knows anything else i might need!! Thanks soo much guys!!

The Black wires (1 per fan) are ground, Blue wire is power for the left side fan, and the Brown wire powers the right side fan. I normal use the fans are connected through several relays to change speeds. For low speed the fans are connected in series, for high speed the fans are connected in parallel. If they are wired backwards, they will spin backwards.

They should work fine the way you described. The only way to connect them backwards is to intentionally put power to ground wires and ground to the power wires.

I just looked at the fans (dug them out finally). One has a blue and a gray (i believe) and the other is a white and black (or something of those 2 sorts)!! Blue and white are power i assume and i can wire those together and then plug them into the controller then wire the black and gray together to ground. That was my though i just like to make sure before i blow up my fans (not that they really would, but knowing my luck i would hook them up wrong and something would $#@k up)!! LOL!! Thanks for the help pete!!
