Default Need of help with fuel pressure issues on 94 camaro v6

So i bought this car it was running when i bought it and sometimes would have a rough start than after a week it just never started so i found out it was not getting any fuel pressure but i heard the fuel pump humming like a bird when i tried to turn over car but still no fuel pressure naturally after some half *** advice that the fuel pump was the issue i just replaced the assembly with new fuel pump replaced fuel filter after all that work went to go prime the fuel pump and there it was again humming like a bird but still wouldn’t come on so i grew frustrated and left it alone and paid someone else to at least diagnose the problem for me and he told me it was an ignition problem that the key has a chip that must be bad and needs to replace ignition idk i feel so sick and i don’t want to give up on the car please some good advice from people who actually work on camaros. This beginner diy ding Dong would love some help
