Default Need to find out what I have.

Me andmydad recently purchased a 1994 camaro. My neighbor owns a 1LE and I trust his opinion but I want a 2nd one. So this camaro has the lt1. Does not have T tops. Auto trans. Non leather. Thats all I can say as of now. I will be watching the thread and I will reply.

What you would have, unless by some off chance someone did an engine swap, is a 94 Z28 hardtop with cloth interior.

Congrats on the new toy!

Have you opened the glove box yet? You can check the "RPO" codes as there are lists posted online. If it is the glove box the car came with it will give you a break down of what the car came with from factory (Gears, interior package, motor package... etc). Also you can compare the vin number on the tag towards the top left to the vin of the car and it will tell if it is the stock glove box. This will not tell you everything about the car but it will tell you what she started her life as but A LOT CHANGES after changing hands after almost 20 years.

Here is a site I used to look mine up:
http://www.f-body.org/tech/4th_gen.htm#rpo

The VIN won't give you much info other than what you already know about the car.

This is a picture of mine

Mine as an example:
LT1 - Engine, 5.7L (V8) MFI
GU2 - Axle, Rear 2.73 Ratio
M30 - Transmission - Automatic, 4-Speed, 4LE, Electronic
Z28 - Merchandised Package - Special Performance

AND so on...

I'm not sure what you're expecting to have?

It could be a B4C car I guess also?

We would have a better idea of what info he was after, had he told us what his neighbors "opinion" was reefering to, but then that would have given away the surprise!

thats pretty much what I was getting at, he eludes to his neighbor having a 1LE, but never goes into details?

Weren't all B4C cars 6 speeds? Or was that just some of them?

To OP, What are you expecting it to be? Mine is a LT1, cloth interior, auto, non t-tops but that doesn't make it special..
