Ooh I got all excited to see that compnine site was up and running again, was down for gotta be close to 2 years. But it's not a free service anymore.....off with the party hat! Guess the revamp helps to explain some of the down time.

It says z28 but it does not have limited slip nor posi track. Is that possible? Sorry for being so new

p indicates a lt1, could be the posi is toast. that would act like an open center

How do you know it's not LSD (Posi)? Have you jacked the rear up and physically spun one tire with the car in neutral? Same direction would indicate LSD. Opposite would indicate open diff or, as Craby said, a shot LSD.

To answer your question, from the factory, every Z28 was a LSD. Previous owner could have broken the original rear end and just swapped one from a junk yard.

Just a FYI in 1994 there was two options for the Camaro, The V6 (base model) and the V8 (Z28), Its one or the othere. There is no such thing as LT1 non-Z28.

I did a burn out. 1 mark left on the ground. So either it was a non lsd or posi. Or a shot gear?
