Cool, thanks for the info guys. This place is priceless!!!!
It's actually calmed down quite a bit with some miles but thats exactly what I plan on doing. I am just debating whether to do it myself or pay.
My only other complaint is I think I have some piston slap. Not the best recording, here's an .m4a I recorded with my iphone. https://cid-cea3156111d367b9.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/.Public/Sound/Memo.m4a
As for the whining in 5th 6th, mine did that when i first bought it at 50000 miles. I changed the fluid in the trans. and the dif. and it's definitely not as bad now.

So I took a guy familiar with 4th gens for a spin to hear my 5th and 6th gears. I told him I thought I may have an ehaust leak but as it turned out his opinion is the original owner did something to the stock exhaust. It still has the original muffler and tails but he suspects something was gutted in between. Any ideas? Resonator or Cat gone? I would think my sensor would trigger a gutted cat but maybe it was programed out.
