Got it from a dealership unfortunately, but have been wanting to track down the previous owner to kick him where it hurts for ruining a good car. I'm still trying to pick up the pieces.

Josh, are you looking to get it repainted soon or going to wait a little while?

I'd look into renting a garage if possible once it's painted. But maybe I'm just paranoid about my car.

That is gonna be an all-over paint job, even hit the emblem on the front, that thing is like $100+. Gonna cost around $2,700, if they write the estimate for less I'd tell the adjuster that you aren't scared of the old supplemental.

The estimate was 3573.42 As 383 said, every panel has to be repainted, and all the emblems have to be replaced. Evidently the SS emblems are prone to breaking when being removed. Those are 56.00 each. They cut me a check for 3073.42 and told me to get it fixed. I'm looking around for shops tonight after work.

On a better note.... My tinted 97-02 tails came in, need to be polished, and the CME lip should be here tonight or tomorrow. I ordered a new center console (for the ashtray lid) and all new SS emblems. Instead of the red trimmed, I will be using silver trimmed.

Decided since I am getting it painted, I am going with the "Murdered Out" theme. Car will be repainted Onyx Black, matte black 02 LE stripes, Black chrome SS wheels, and 20% tinted windows. Should look absolutely bad *** when I'm done
