500 isnt bad just make sure you go to a good body shop thats the only thing keeping me from getting my car painted i dont want to be disappointed and regret new paint because of a sht painter and orange peal

If my car had orange peel after new paint, I'd take it right back to them so they can wet sand it out. Especially if insurance is paying for it... if it's not done right and you aren't happy then the insurance company will fight the shop and not pay til it's done right. From past experience, a lot of insurance companies will give you some choices as far as what shop it goes to. When my husband rolled his Wrangler, he asked the insurance company who they recommended. Then we went to that shop and talked to the painters and checked out their work. They did an awesome job on his Jeep, and anyone who doesn't know any better wouldn't guess he rolled it.

Why must some people destroy other peoples stuff´? Sorry to see how they messed up ypur car

Looks alitle like wath someonw did to my car.. They playd with a keey on my hood and the driver´s side glas t-top.. The t-top will have to wait untill I have money to buy a new one. But the hood and front bumper (paint chips gonne cause of flying stones) will be repainted during the winter.

thanks guys, I know of a couple shops out here that do excellent work. Progressive came out and did the estimate. $3573.42. They went ahead and gave me the check, all i have to do now is go take it in. Just know when I get it repainted, I will have some new pics posted up.

I might just key my car and make a claim. Someone put a dent in my bumper and took off while I was at the gas station one time. I have yet to get it fixed because school costs have gotten in the way.

^ Lol. My paint is awful. Someone repainted it, why, I don't know. Probably a Maaco job. Runs, orange peel, peeling, cracking, unevenness...the list goes on.
