I have heard that before the cobalt is rear wheel ? I drive 05 sable front wheel drive does fine for about 5 year though had it since new ,you learn to feather foot it when driving in snow ,I had a 99 ford pick up was bad had no 4 wheel drive an even with weight in it ,though I did not have snow tires ,theres a lady hear in town drives her mustang in winter ,does ok ,ya short trip are key with the cars another friend drove hid 79 z28 last year ,he did not have a choise couse his truck was broken ,I tried to only do it when there was no snow on ground ,an the car needs a restoration done to it too
