Default RE: motor swap

if you definitely want to keep the car and not put a lot into it i would go to a junk yard and pull a 3.8 out of a wrecked camaro/firebird and instead just drop that in, if your looking for an easy fix.because that way you can just bolt up the tranny thats currently in it and i think the engine cradle is the same but im not positive on that. anything will fit with the right amount of money and time.if you know you want a v8 then i would just sell the car and buy a z28. but if your looking for a project then i would just try to pick up a wrecked 4th gen. z28 and just salvage everypart of it and put it onto the 95 3.4 includingthe motor, tranny, rear-end, and the k member along with all the other front end suspension and motor mounts. that stock auto tranny i believe is the 4l60e and i don't even know if that can handle a v8 even if it's built right. i've thought about putting an lt1 into my 96 3.8 but im not going to until i find a z28 donor car to do it with.
