Default Monsoon

Is it possible to remove the factory Monsoon speakers and solider up aftermarket speakers? Obviously keeping all the existing connectors- just soldering up to my new speakers.

Like solder them into the female plug that will come off of your stock speaker? It would probably be easier to just shove the wires inside that connector and then wrap it in electrical tape, thats what Ive done in all my cars, and it worked fine for me.

You can put in new speakers but you're going to need a new head-unit and amp because the Monsoon speakers are a 2 Ohm speaker.
