I just thought I'd post pics of what I did to my stock lid. I plan on getting a whisper/slp/mti lid to replace this so I figured I'd have a little fun with it. I cut and shaved down the baffles and cut the plastic piece off in the oval. I bought some red basic $2 sticker packs from Hobby Lobby and used the letters to write "Camaro" on the lid (The red is off a little under certain light compared to the rest). Started some wire looming today as well. If I could find a store that had different size wire loom / split flexible tubing w/e u wanna call it - in red I would've finished it already. My bro had an extra Bowtie emblem - it was gold with black trim and a clear plastic over it all. I used red Krylon Fusion Paint to change the emblem color. Also threw 1 photo in there of what my front seats look like with 2 coats of Black Simply Spray on the outside border. Its more like a Deep Dark Grey over the standard graphite. It's ok - I'm def. replacing it all with leather though.
