Hey another member on here told me about modifying the air lid on my 00' 3.8. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you just smooth down the baffles on the inside of the air lid which faces the topside of the air filter. Also its suppose to be like the SLP whisper lid correct? Does anyone have any pics of this free mod that they have done?

 

Just chip off all of the ridges, and sand it smooth...

I did it. Its not perfect (some chips and gouges,) but there isn't any loose plastic particles. It sounded a little different I think, when I went on a little test drive.
