No, I haven't. There's only one canister behind the rear driver wheel well right? I've seen a couple delete videos of this part but I'm leery of deviating from stock unless there's almost no chance of it screwing something else up. Like going from my old two-piece ds to an aluminum one. I did remove the EGR in anticipation of deleting it. It made it much easier to change the plugs on that side so I was tempted to leave it off. However, even after stenciling a cover for the open port hole out of an aluminum can, I decided to put it back on. These run pretty hot and if cooling down a cylinder helps even slightly with lowering temps, why not.

the canister is supposed to only have gas fumes in it not liquid gas in it. when liquid gas gets in it it makes the coal that's in it break up and it moves into the system. the charcoal is supposed to soak up the gas fumes from the air and release it when the evap is activated taking it to the intake manifold. if liquid gas is in the system it will cause rich condition. when diagnosing mine for another issue I found that if you fill tank up past when it stops to much it can get gas into the evap system.

Thanks craby. I'll check it.

Is there any other way besides liquid fuel inside the canister that the little charcoal ***** would be sucked up into valve by fuel rail?
