suggestion on the first steps to make my camaro sound mean, loud and clear. i know it has to do with headers and cat backs, flowmasters, exhaust all that i do have duo exhaust. but i am kinda new to the whole camaro cars so i might sound stupid. just want some tips on first things to do to make it like that. any suggestions? thank you. this is a video on how i want my car to sound. idk if that helps. thank you.

I don't think the second videos Camaro has anymore piping after the ypipe which will make it loud but if I'm not mistaken will also kill your mpg's. They both sound like they have a cam which will make the car sound more aggressive and will give you some more power. I haven't gotten into the engine internals yet but love the way I've gotten my maro to sound with K&N cai, headers, high flow cat, and magnaflow dual out muffler. Piping was done at the shop.

 

The only way you V6 is going to sound like a Cammed V8 is if you record that sound and play it thru Stereo. Search 3800 on You tube for a more realistic goal.

I have a 96 with headers and Flow master cat back and Cat delete. I sounds ok at low RPMs but nothing like those cars.
