Better tires should ALWAYS be mod #1, they will make the biggest differance of anything you can do for the car. My bet is that you be pulling 2.3 60 foots with regular tires, with a dr you will be sub 2.0's.

 

well i need tires i can drive around in the rain. I dont think i can afford DRs AND new street tires.

no no, i get what your saying and believe me i do WANT to get DRs for the track but right now im just looking to give the track a run, nothing serious. since my camaro is a DD before i get DRs id like to get new street tires and brakes to run on and then ill get DRs and see the difference.
