will an intake manifold from an LT4 fit on my 96 z28? i hear that lt4 parts fit onto lt1 engines without any problems. but not sure if this is true also about how much power/performance could i expect from this swap?

 

i think u have to have it modified to make it fit. give lloyd a call and ask what all needs to be done. may be worth having the heads and intake done at the same time.

The bolts will line up OK, but the ports of a stock LT4 manifold will not mate properly with the ports on stock LT1 heads. There will be a flow disruption when transitioning from large to small. Get LT4 heads or port the Lt1 heads to get a match.

 

so if i do lt4 heads with the lt4 intake manifold, it will work?

 

yes, u may still want to talk with lloyd on it to get max bang for your buck.
