RE: LT1 Shift Kits
Ive been thinking about it for a while and i think that im gonna get the b&m electronic, mostly just because I dont really want to mess with taking out my tranny. Does anybody know if the electronic ones are bad for any reason?

RE: LT1 Shift Kits
I haven't heard anything bad, and for $50 and not having to open up the transmission it sounds like it would be worth a try.

actually i heard the b&m ones raise pressure too, so i guess im just gonna get the transgo hd-2 kit, and have my friend whos a mechanic help me. But i hear that thiers different settings? like a 1, 2 and 3 depending on how hard you want your shifts to be? which one would you recoment for mostly street? and what would be a disadvantage of all of them. And how much will i notice it?i know that was really long post with a lot of questions

cant you just get your computer tuned to improve the shifts. LT1runner did the PCMforless deal and he said he had crisper shifts.

the tuned shiftkits will definitly be noticable. However they cannot quite achieve the degree of firmness as the mechanical ones. at least that is my understanding anyways. personally I would do the tune, because its not much behind the fully installed ones and its much less PITA
