Yeah I was quoted $500 from my friend so... I feel like the wholesale price I paid for the car was worth it even with body damage.

yep i havent seen a ls1/m6 for under 5k yet..but i have till next spring so i have time haha..

i really hope i can get a good job this summer to get the ~5k ill need for the car..but as i said a A4 would be fine..

I would definitly not try doing a swap that would be extreemly dificult. Just keep your eyes peeled and best of luck to you.

well right now im arguing with my self on the topic..i like the LS1 but i like LT1's to..IM TORN!!!

since you don't have the money and aren't SURE you're ever going to have the money, i'd do an LT1 car. they're cheaper which leaves more money for all the extravagant plans you have for this car

Not to be pessimistic, but isn't this like the 10 billionth time you've said you were getting/going to get a 'maro? Save money FIRST, then start looking at what's available. You can have all the ideas in the world, but those ideas cost money first.

yes but im hell bent on getting one..im going to be looking for a job really soon..theres a 95Z for 2k that needs a trans but its a auto..and 6sp LT's are like 2grand more than autos..so im kinda looking for a cheap 6sp LT1..and whammer, i want your motor haha

you don't need my motor for auto x.

you can find complete 6 speed swaps for around 1500 bucks, so 3500 bucks for a running lt1 car. compared to what for an ls1 car? see my point yet?

yeah..if i had the money now theres a running 95Z for 2K that needs a trans

hell if i didnt care if i wanted a v6 or v8, theres a 94 v6 vert on auto trader for 1600 lol
