Hello everyone im new here so I hope this is the right spot.

Anyway I have a '95 firebird formula that I got from my grandma. Then I found out it was made the same month and year I was born so its special to me. Well when I was driving home today it sounded like it was missing a bunch. It was kind of sputtering. Also when I was parked it was idling between 1,000 and 2500 rpm. It was jumping around. Now I just replaced the optispark with an MSD one 3 days ago. Its got new plugs, wires, coil, battery, and a cold air intake. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Can u check codes ? You got to get the right scanner OBD1 and OBD2 port, anyways when u put CAI did u plug in all sensors/plug ins? Did u do all the new tune up ? Maybe double check everything

 

unfortunately I dont have the a scanner right now. Im looking to get one soon. Also I forgot to mention, my optispark broke last fall and I didn't have the money or time to fix it until this past week. After I put it back together it wouldnt start until I put in fresh premium fuel.

 

check your fuel pressure. can borrow or rent a tester at parts store. change fuel filter and see whats inside the old filter, dump out from tank side into clear container
