No, the LT4 intake actually has intake ports that are 0.1" higher than the LT1 to accomodate the LT4 heads. You really don't need an intake that flows better than the stock LT1 intake, the only benefit you could get is port matching the LT1 intake to your heads and porting it out and getting a 58mm TB. The LT1 intake doesn't have long enough runners to need to be upgraded, it's pretty much an open chamber with the holes for the ports.

 

You are correct my friend but I was asking that because the LS6 intake is out there in the after market in spades.
