lowering springs not work!?! wtf?

your new springs are too stiff and not allowing compression where the old ones did compress.... DO NOT cut them,,, your asking for a mess of trouble..... see if they settle if not you got too stiff of springs

exactly. if you go cutting them then you can mess up so easy, not to mention that the company that sold them to you will give you no credibility if you modified their parts.

thanks settling makes sence, hopefully that works, how long and far do u think i should wait or drive?

If you look at the factory spring you can see the coils open up near one end. These are known as variable rate springs and they have a bad habbit of lowering themselves over time. Go and give the car a good hard drive and see if it feels any different. To me it looks like it should have a lot stiffer ride, the new springs look beefier. Also like BC said above some times it takes a day or so for a spring to settle in.

lowerd about an inch since i posted this so hopefully they go the other inch in the near futer so thank for all the info and i may have some more ? in the near futer so thanks again. open for additional commments.

good to hear the lower a bit now, im not sure if you will get much more out of them. likely the oem ones were sagged a bit so car will have been lower than it was meant to be, but getting an inch is nice

any pics????
