Looking for my old 2000 SLP SS
I'm trying to track down the 2000 Camaro SS that I bought new and sold only a couple years later when starting a family. It's SLP build# 0609 VIN# 2G1FP22G6Y2106483. Any suggestions for ways to hunt for it? I've Googled the VIN with no hits so it looks like it hasn't been for sale online. No information on the SLP registry. Any suggestions that you have would be appreciated. If anyone has an unlimited Carfax account and could give me information on it that would be great. It was a pewter t-top with the chrome 5-spoke ZR-1 style wheels, SLP exhaust and Auburn rear. I Loved that car. It was bought new at Bill Stasek Chevrolet in Illinois and traded into a dealership in Pennsylvania around 2003. I still have the full documentation package for the car including window sticker, SLP sticker, build sheet, etc. I even have the unused SLP key fobs and unused SLP car cover. Even if it's not for sale the current owner may be interested in these items .

Good luck, you might try posting on Facebook at some of the Camaro pages, there are quite a few and many many members all over the country and even world.
It's a needle in a haystack thing though, that's quite a few years back the car may not even exist anymore.
4th gen LS cars often get parted out even in running condition these days as people use the guts for restomods on older cars.
I know it's not mine, it's a pewter SLP SS but an '01 hardtop.
Best of luck in your search.

Thanks Y2K. I'll look for some good Instagram pages. I don't really do Facebook. I came across this forum when I was looking for some dedicated 4th gen Camaro SS forums. Are there any other forums where you connect with people for info about your SS?
