i am going to look at and most likely buy a 00 ss camaro with a 6spd.i am new to camaros as i usually only build mustangs so what does it mean when the guy im buying the car from said it is a true slp camaro not a z28?he said that there is stickers in the door jams to prove it?is there any way to ake sure it is a true ss.thanks

 

the Z28 was built by GM

the SS was Z28 basically upgraded to an SS by SLP, a performance company here in New Jersey. You can verify it being real or not by calling SLP with the Vin #
