I have a 94 z28 AT and have had it for some time and am looking to make some modifications to it. I was thinking if updating the suspension and lowering an inch or so. I have added a borla exhaust and cold air intake and new rims but I want to update the suspension before I put money into the motor. Any suggestions would be helpful.

All depends on your budget. New shocks all the way around, springs, a bigger sway bars is a nice start.
-Tubular panhard bar (or the Watts link, if you got the $$)
-tubular rear lower control arms
-New torque arm that relocates off the rear of trans
-Sub frame connectors.
Those are the more common and basic mods. Tubular K-member and tubular upper/lower control arms if you really want to get serious.

go with strano 1.2 springs. if you lower you will want a adjustable panhard bar, or watts link$$$ sam is one of the best 4th gen suspension in the country so if you are going to order from him give him a call and let him know what you wish to order and what you are wanting, he will question your wanting to lower right off so, lol, be ready for that. he is a very nice guy though and can give you very sound advise. http://www.stranoparts.com/searchbymodel.php?ModelID=2
the koni double adjustable shocks, (4th gen ride is dictated by quality of shocks) strano sway bars, strut tower brace, (i used a spohns) these are the things that make the most difference,
next would be the sub frame connectors, welded work best and to finish, bushings for front upper and lower control arms, bushings for or new rear lower control arms, i have boxed and they work as good as any and i like the looks. if your not breaking transmission mounts i would keep the torque bar stock, tunnel mount torque bar will transfer vibration and noise better.
